Christmas Countdown counts the days to Christmas. It is a small app, and it is built to need as little about you as possible.
Everything you choose in the app is saved only in the app's own storage on your phone, and is deleted when you uninstall it:
None of this is sent anywhere. We cannot see it.
If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled by your own phone and shown by your own phone. Nothing is pushed from a server, and we are never told whether it appeared or whether you opened it.
The app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob so that it can stay free. To choose an ad, AdMob may receive:
We do not collect this ourselves, we do not receive your advertising ID, and we cannot connect ads to any individual. Google's own handling of it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android, which stops it being used to personalise ads.
Where the law requires it — in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you may change or withdraw that choice at any time from the app's own settings.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Ad requests are marked so that ad content is restricted accordingly.
Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored. There is no account to close and nothing held on our side to delete.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and the current version always lives at this address.
